Intentional spaces are created for authentic conversations, compassionate listening, and thoughtful engagement with Christian thinkers and leaders. What is Finding Something Real
Statement of Faith
1. The Triune God We believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth; in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended to the dead. On the third day, He rose again. He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. From there He will come to judge the living and the dead.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy universal Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
2. The Authority of Scripture
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God, fully sufficient for teaching, correction, and training in righteousness. It reveals God's truth and guides His people in all matters of life and faith.
3. God’s Design for Humanity
We believe that God created humanity in His image, male and female, with equal dignity and distinct roles. He designed marriage to be a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, and He calls families to reflect His love, order, and truth.
4. The Fall and Redemption
We believe that through mankind’s sin, humanity became separated from God and subject to death and judgment. But God, in His mercy, sent His Son Jesus Christ to save sinners. Through repentance and faith in Christ alone, we are reconciled to God and born again by the Holy Spirit.
5. The Church and Mission
We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, called to worship God, preach the gospel, disciple believers, and live as a witness to God’s kingdom in the world. Every believer is called to holiness, to love one another, and to speak truth in love.
6. The Sanctity of Life and Human Identity
We affirm that every human life, from conception to natural death, is sacred and bears the image of God. We believe that gender is given by God, not self-defined, and should be embraced and lived according to His design and purposes.
7. The Hope of Christ’s Return
We believe that Jesus Christ will return in glory to judge the living and the dead. The righteous will dwell with Him forever in the new heaven and new earth, and the unrepentant will face eternal separation from God.
